PJ25CProZyme® PhycoPro™ GT5™ APC (Spirulina platensis) crosslinked and then activated with SMCC (succinimidyl 4-[N-maleimidomethyl]-cyclohexane-1-carboxylate). After a buffer exchange step, the product was filtered using a 0.45µ membrane and stored in a sterile container. Activated APC can be easily conjugated to antibodies and other proteins by conventional protein cross-linking techniques without altering its spectral characteristics.
