Staff Accountant JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
ProZyme, lnc. is a biotech manufacturer of diagnostic reagents used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and research. We sell primarily to the biopharma industry and to academic or institutional research laboratories. We have been in business since 1990 and are seeking a self-motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. In this position you will assume the responsibilities for the day to day accounting activities. Candidates will have experience or are seeking to gain experience in a wide variety of accounting areas including month-end close, financial reporting, annual budgets, inventory control, job costing, payables and receivables. Successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and other non-financial team members, vendors and clients.
Requirements::
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 3 years accounting experience
- Experience with any 2 of the following:
- Month end close
- Annual budgets
- Inventory control
- Product profitability
- Intermediate level knowledge (or higher) of general ledger and accounting principles
- Skilled in MS Excel and MS Word
- Good communicator (verbal and written)
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
Other qualifications:Annual salary range is $60,000 to $65,000 depending on experience. Other benefits include: performance bonus, health and dental, 401K, attractive vacation & holiday schedule.
