I have recently used your Phycolink® Conjugation Kits. Am I right in assuming that one phycobiliprotein molecule binds one IgG molecule?
In theory the conjugates should be roughly 1:1. In practice they are usually between 1:1 and 3:1. Also, the conjugates are usually higher-order aggregates than a single antibody molecule plus one or more phycobiliprotein molecules. At least they appear to be so, since they are generally excluded from500,000 mw sizing columns.
